    The Modified Main Event ended up as the Belec and Ursetta show.  Both Eddie Belec of Lakewood, and Dominic Ursetta of Arvada, started on the second row and quickly picked their way to the front. Mostly Belec led, but Ursetta would gain on him and through some of the turns got his bumper ahead of Belec, maintaining the neck-and-neck race.  Sponsored by the same team, like brothers they compete at the highest level and regardless of the outcome, they celebrate the win together.  This time it was Belec who was mere inches ahead at the contested finish, and is was the track photographer’s picture that captured the photo finish and clenched the final decision for the win.  It was easy for Ursetta to accept second since he remains the points leader in the Modified division, just a few points ahead of Belec who is second in points.  Joe Mullins of Boulder, came in third.
