The regular nights racing would start with the 6u in the back of the heat race but again as he did in the first feature, he would move to the front and pull away for the win.     

    Unfortunately the heat races were just to qualify for the feature and wouldn't have any affect on where the cars started so he lined up twelfth on the grid. At the half way mark he was up to eighth and moving through the field nicely. The great run came to an end when contact with the seventh place car cut down his tire forcing him to pit. Restarting at the back is never easy but Dom would make it back up to that eighth spot at the finish.
