20th Annual Flatlander / BST Event

    With the second day of the 2009 Flatlander being during the day, equipment would be put to the test with the heat being much higher than the night before. Dom started his heat race from the outside of the third row and slowly picked his way through the field getting up to the third position by the time the checkered flag waved.

    The qualifier was much more of a challenge because the track was taking a lot of rubber and it made for a one lane race track which would start eating tires quickly. After getting by a couple cars at the start, Ursetta would run second for most of the race but with just a couple laps remaining while fighting an ill handling race car, a blown right rear tire coming out of turn number two would end his day.
