The Fall Classic was the biggest race of the year to date at
the 1/4 mile bullring in Fort Morgan, Co and the competition was stout. Ursetta
started the day by finishing third in his heat race and with no cars
transferring from the heat races, the qualifying mains would determine the
feature starting line up.
Dom lined up sixth on the grid for the twenty lap qualifying main and with only
the top six cars advancing, it would be a hard fought battle the whole way.
Keeping his nose clean and maintaining a steady pace would get him a fifth place
finish at the checkers and a key spot in the feature.
Starting tenth in the forty lap race was a good spot and the
6u quickly made his way through the field looking like one of the cars to beat
early on. By the half way mark he was up inside the top five and at would cross
the line third at the finish, scoring another impressive top five finish.
