Bellm Motorsports is proud to announce the latest edition to the BST/Bellm
Motorsports driver development program. Dominic Ursetta took his first laps in a
dirt modified a few weeks ago at RMNS and showed promise, the next step was to
take him to a bigger, faster track.
“Dominic did good and showed he is not afraid of speeds or a lot of cars, he ran
with the best in the region and finished on the lead lap ahead of a few track
champions” said Joe Bellm. “I know the sport needs a change, that is why I
started the series, now we have to get the kids out of quarter midgets and mini
sprints and get them into modifieds so they can have a true choice of staying
local, or traveling with a series” I think that anyone in dirt racing needs to
end up in a modified, there are so many from coast to coast that a person can
pull into any town USA and be competitive” expressed the Bellm Motorsports
founder.
“I like the influx of new blood, every new driver brings with them a new crew,
new fans and new faces. Seeing people like Bobby Harr running modifieds, and
Scott Wilson showing interest make me believe that the sport will change for the
better, this weekend will also see the debut of Ed Belec Jr. in a BST modified,
Darren Robertson also went through a Bellm modified for his dirt experience. The
future of the dirt modifieds looks real bright, despite the decline of
Motorsports as a whole in the region" said Chris Martinez, PR Dir. For the BST
Jasper Modified Series. Now we just need to keep drivers like Sammy Gallo III,
Dominic Ursetta, and Ed Bellec Jr. coming back, and having fun.
