Starting the heat race from the outside of the front row, Dom quickly jumped to the lead off of turn two and never looked back. This win was his tenth heat race victory of the season.

     The 6u Taylor Modified would line up eighth on the grid for the feature and by the half way point of the twenty lap race, he was up to the third spot. With just five laps to go it was a fight for the win between both Arvada X Motorsports cars. Moving up six spots from his fourth row starting spot, Ursetta crossed the line second behind his teammate at the checkers.
