Excitement was in the air at CNS
The night started with Dominic winning the Fast Dash in Mike Costagnos #22 Grand American Modified. The night ended up with one of the most exciting races in the Super Late Model class in recent history at CNS says Eric Guttormson (Webby Big West Racing). We had the fastest car on the track and battled our way to the front to race side by side with Chris Eggleston for the last 10 laps to cross the checkered flag with just feet shy of the win...

We had a great run! Starting in 5th position working our way to the front this week proves to have paid off! Wowing the crowd in what was an exciting finish by chasing down the 2012 track champion on the last lap and passing him in turn 4 to cross the checkered flag in 2nd place. Special thanks to our dedicated sponsors, supportive family and the fans that are having fun with us!

80 lap Special Event
The first segment of the 80 lap special event starts with a 30 lap race where the 6 team crosses the checkered flag in 6th place, after a few changes we are ready for the second segment 50 laps. Dominic starts the race in 6th making his way through and in a daring move in lapped traffic going three wide he dropped to the bottom and cleared the pack where he had an impressive 3rd place finish! Everyone was happy and excited which showed in the pits after the race with fans and friends congratulating the team!

What an exciting race for the 6 team!
After the start of the race being held up and dropping to 5th position Dominic was making his way forward when the caution came out in turn four where he narrowly made it through. On the restart he made his way to the front where he smoothly battled for the lead lap after lap. With less than 10 laps to go going for the lead the rear end cover failed spilling the oil. Losing traction in his own oil he called upon his dirt experience saving the car and finishing the race in 3rd. We would like to thank our sponsors for getting us back on the track quickly.
Saturday April 27th
Short night for the 6 team
With Dominic starting 6th position in the Main Event the race for the 6 team ended when a veteran driver missed the shift at the green flag virtually stopping the cars behind him. Dominic controlling his car lifted as not to hit the veteran driver and unfortunately a second year driver behind Dom crashed into the rear lifting the car and pushing him into the wall. The 6 car sustained substantial damage to the front and rear. There were injuries to the second year driver who had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. Dominic though disappointed was not injured and his car is back at the shop with the team rebuilding.

Dominic Dominates the Fast Dash
Opening day of the 2013 season our new 2013 Port City Race Car hitting the track for the first time dominating and winning the fast dash! We would like to thank Craig Raudman for coming to Denver and helping us fine tune the new car setup, it was a good night for the team. Starting 4th in the Main Event the first 4 cars ran away from the pack, Dominic being stuck behind a slower 3rd place car spent more laps than he wanted following. With a few laps remaining Dom made his move passing on the outside finishing respectably in 3rd place. Opening night was a yellow flag free contest and we look forward to our next race!
