2014 Dominic Ursetta Racing, LLC
Profile UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Dominic began racing within the IMCA modified racing circuit at 17.

Dom’s Uncle Ed Belec was a big influence on him from a very early age while he was running Late Models in the South West Tour, which he did for over 32 years. Another big influence for Dom growing up was watching #6 Rick Carelli the "High Plains Drifter" as he is known here in Colorado. Rick is a former Winston West and Southwest Tour champion and was a familiar figure at Southern California short tracks for many years. He later became the team manager for Kevin Harvick Incorporated. Dom is very proud to have been running the #6 in his Dirt career and his jump to asphalt.

Dom and his cousin Eddie were either at the RC track or at Colorado National Speedway watching Ed race. Dom received his first RC Car at the age of 8 where he enjoyed great success on the RC track for many years, he raced RC’s in Denver, Las Vegas, Orlando and St. Louis.

When Dom turned 16 and was old enough to drive his love of racing matured along with him! His dad Dub Ursetta bought his first car and as soon as he could Dom started drag racing his street rated Cobra Mustang at Bandimere Speedway in Denver, with 11.7 being his best time.

On August 26th 2005 "The Beginning" Dominic's dreams come true, he received the opportunity of a lifetime to run in his first Modified dirt race at Rocky Mountain National Speedway in Denver driving Joe Bellem’s, founder of BST Racing, hot lapping Joe's #73 car and racing Joe's second car #6. Dominic was hooked.

Since that day Dom has added to his list of accomplishments:Dominic Ursetta Racing
